“The Story of Stuff” – Consumerism run amok – by design…

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009

I just watched this video called The Story of Stuff. It’s a must-see for everyone who lives on planet Earth, but mostly for we Americans who are purposely being brainwashed into consuming more, more, more! That what we got last year (month, week) is no longer good enough, and shame on us if we dare think it is! (I know you don’t suffer from this, but most people do, by design.)

My favorite point made by this video is that our National Happiness has been in decline since this consumerism push was purposely implemented in the 1950′s. To me, that says it all. We’re not happy and yet we continue down this road of seeking that happiness outside of ourselves. It’s madness and it has to stop. Our very lives depend on it.

Watch it now – The Story of Stuff

It’ll teach you something, it’ll make you laugh, and it just may change the way you look at all the stuff in your life forever.
